We’re partnering with the Red Cross to collect donations and help save lives, reduce injuries, and cut down on needless losses caused by home fires.

Each year, 12,600 people are injured and 2,500 die as a result of home fires in the United States. Property loss as a result of this is estimated to be at $7.3 billion, making a devastating impact on the wellbeing of families around the US.

By donating you are providing the Red Cross with the resources it needs to provide critical services for people who have been impacted by home fires. They will also provide lifesaving tools, such as smoke detectors, and information to help support efforts for prevention of home fires, allowing families to stay safe and ensure that they are doing everything in their hands to avoid this catastrophe.

It took one imaginative 11-year-old boy and an email from a happy customer to remind us just how nifty these little earth-friendly peanuts are.

If you’ve received a shipment from Pegasus Lighting in the past few years, your box most likely had a sticker on it with those words. Inside the box is a note that shares the reasons behind our choice to use biodegradable cornstarch packing peanuts, not the least of which is because they are really fun to play with.
